2015 in the US has been pretty close with a very slight edge to the PS4 over the Xbox One. During that month on Amazon, it seemed like there was an issue with the stock of PS4, which is why we saw unusual Amazon charting for that month. I honestly think that even a small change like that can shift the month in either console's favor.

yeah and ps4 won may by only 13k units. So its confirmed, that xbox one won 2 out of the last 6 npd.

NPD don't do adjustments. They're not VGChartz.

NPD track between 90% to 95% of the actual retail market in the USA and use their own model built upon years of experience to estimate the remaining 5% to 10% of the market. Their numbers are as close to exact as you can get but there will always be a small margin of error where that 13k can fall in to.
