This is mostly a question towards people in North America. Similar things are happening elsewhere, to a much lesser extent -but I'd say this is more of an American thing than anything else. I feel like the best way to describe how North America is maturing is like that of a teenager. Still learning things but reluctant advice or criticism from others (seriously, I've talked to many people and criticized their countries constructively without any freak outs, do that here in America you get, "if you don't like it move out" or the always classic "it's better than in Africa"). The whole politically correct and anti-white straight male thing we've seen recently will die down soon enough. It'll be interesting to see how the countries evolve from that point forward.

I think so too. The country is still creating its identity and such. It's funny to think that companies like Nintendo are almost half the same age as the US. How it matures after these "teenage" years will be quite interesting though. I wonder how it'll look at that point.

As for you last two paragraphs. That's not racist stereotyping on my part, that's a historic fact, the world wasn't always how it used to be today. In countries were whites ruled and men were the bread winners, they ( men with features as mentioned above ) had much more rights than any other single "group" of people ( Including their female counterparts ).
