So, Splatoon outsold Titanfall by 3.5:1 2:1 in the US...

Splatoon second NPD: 290,000
Titanfall second NPD: 84,000 140,000

Sorry, i was very off...

You can't compare the two as Titanfall had 4 weeks of sales in March, then another 4 weeks in April, while Splatoon had 2 days in May and an entire 5 weeks in June.

Maybe you right, but i think lifetime Splatoon will be over Titanfall honeslty...

Microsoft:

“Xbox One and Xbox Live continue to see strong growth in sales and engagement. Xbox One sales in the U.S. were up 51 percent over June 2014 and active global Xbox Live users (Xbox One and Xbox 360) grew 22 percent.”

Should we automatically assume that 'up 51 percent' is refering to hardware sales?  Could sales refer to Xbox One revenue?

Man I would make a great PR lawyer.

More support than the Sega Saturn?  Maybe more support than the N64.

Yeah, at this rate the Sega Saturn will end up with quite a few more games than the Wii U.

I meant first party games. Saturn had a lot of support in Japan, especially great arcade ports of fighting games.

any one else has a feeling the elder scrolls could outsell batman?

4 weeks vs 2 weeks of sales
also the batman ps4 bundles, that won't count towards NPD rankings

will be close maybe

I believe Batman will sell 1.5 million, and withouth the PS4 bundle.

I don't see The Elder Scrolls sell so much...

Wii U overtracked a lot..

You see why I say that NPD is not correct nintendo already confirmed that splatoon had sold 476k in June and we don't know if that's for the whole month, that's why I believe more vgc that npd almost 20k under tracked no way I don't trust these guys

Marso, dont forget digital sales, Splatoon has a lot of those in Japan, and probably too in the USA.
It is nice to have multiplayer games installed instead of having to put in a disc.

Nintendo need to stop using NPD then and start using VGC.

Man I would make a great PR lawyer.

If revenue is up 51% and the unit price is down $50, that would make hardware sales up over 51% by quite a lot. I doubt MS would talk revenue is revenue increase is a lower % than hardware numbers increase. It's only if MS is counting software + hardware revenue that the revenue % would be > hardware 5. But I don;t think they are doing that.

You are assuming that Xbox One sales means hardware alone.   If you are correct, then I would be forced to concede.  However, it is an assumption.  Granted, you could still be absolutely right.  If you are wrong, then I would still make a great PR lawyer.
