Forums - Gaming Discussion - I think I found out why Notch sold Minecraft.

It makes me sad people like that exist.....

It's like that got everyone from the video game and anime clubs from my high school and put them in one convention. They were full of people like this :-p

What's cringe worthy about this? It's kids asking questions about a video game they are passionate about.

Are you mad? Look at that giant mobs of betas, unlike us alphas.

Guessing most of the posters are not parents so something like this is odd or out of their experience.  Being a parent, none of the questions seemed cringed worthy but instead just funny because its just the type of stuff a developer would have to expect when you have a bunch of kids asking you questions in a QA such as this.

I'm a parent and I cringed like hell. My kids would cringe too if I showed it to them, and they're in the same age group.

(Edit) to be fair, though, that must have been compiled and edited to show the very worst. It's not representative.

That was... a thing...

so all you guys never were young and childish, too?
every kid is acting cringe worthy form time to time
even many adults do it often
and if we look at gamers and gaming forums many posts are cringe worthy, too for sure

I think he sold it because he wanted a lot of money.

That was the most intense, concentrated awkward I ever saw in a few minutes. Yeah, kids are awkward, but these aren't like most kids, probably not like most Minecraft fans either, my oldest nephew loves Minecraft and he's nothing like this. Fortunately...

Sorry but... What a bunch of nerds. Good on the devs for keeping mostly a straight face. I don't think most of these kids will grow up being happy. Of course perhaps it is a matter of blissfully ignorance of the life outside. :/
