I don't think I have one Wii U game I can say had a story I was truly engrossed in. Any suggestions? It doesn't even have to be exclusive necessarily, just wanting a good story to experience on Wii U, that's all.
Xenoblade will probably be good...
Wonderful 101, Zelda Wind Waker HD, Batman Arkham City, these have stories that I like at least.

Ghosts isn't too bad
Most nintendo games (wii u) are about gameplay... and have little to no story.
That isnt nessarly a bad thing.... thought.

Except this isn't true. Opinions are 50/50 on this. The game was set up as a type of prologue and it has plenty of twists. it won't be a Xenogears or Xenoblade Chronicles, but it is best to think of it similar to Xenosaga Ep 1, with less filler (albeit more than Xenoblade Chronicles and Xenogears.)
And for general RPG and standards of games in general, this is above-average.
@OP Besides Xenoblade X, Fatal Frame V is coming this fall.

No, it isn't, at least in that regard.
The Wonderful 101 has a... well... wonderful narrative? Most characters are likeable and that's about it, but the story is still quite good.
A bunch of third party games are nice as well, such as Mass Effect 3 (no) and Batman Arkham City AE.
My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.
