Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Conspiracy Theory: Reggie is to be President

Reggie is a comedic figour head (playing a archtype "fool") that they use in presentations to the american public, to demonstrate how things work.... typically by haveing reggie use a device/game and him being silly, adds abit of humor to it.

How is someone portraited as a comedian/fool, at events, to add humor to nintendos presentations, ever going to be taken seriously enough to be the president of a company like nintendo?

This isnt ment to be mean, I know Reggie is a tallented person, and its just a role he puts on... but he has a persona in the publics eye that every differnt from what you would expect of the president of a company like nitnendo.

also Reggie has made some weird PR statements.... some of which make him appear untrustworthy.

That is not what you want in a president of a company.

The only white dude that I can think of who could run it is Peter Moore. He has whored his arse everywhere and could use those connections to get 3rd party support on the system lol.

That'll never happen, ever.

Look at his track record.  No one blamed Reggie for the reception the Wii U got.  It was always Iwata that took the punishment.  Reggie, fool or not, has been at this title for the last 10 years.  And still no sign that t hey are fed up with him.  They could have named another person to take his place a long time ago, he must have been good enough at his job.

As for foolish, Iwata were in some of the same Nintendo Directs, being ham with both Miyamoto and Reggie.  "Fool" archtype, and so was Iwata.  He was never taken seriously, or should have been taken serously, as he fights Reggie in full amimated combat with one another.  Nintendo is a kooky ass company.  So they'll just have another kooky ass president.

Please tell me you're not American.

I wish Reggie would get Pizza Hut support for the WiiU :/

Reggie Fils Aime? That's fairly random. Why on earth would you think he's the best guy to answer to a company which is located in Japan and run by Japanese speaking Shareholders and board of directors?

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

How would that work? a low budget indie game... and everytime you order over x$ of pizza from pizza hut, you would get a game code?

That might actually not be a bad idea.

A big budget platformer centered around the Pizza Hut mascot of course, guaranteed success!

You seem to not know how katakana works. Correctly it would be レジフィザミー. Because that's how he is pronounced.
