Minions made a billion?... Seriously?

Yep, and I still have no idea how.

China helped a lot but even without it would have been over a billion.

I don't think Spectre will do so Star Wars will probably be the next one. Mockingjay Part 2 has a slight chance of doing it also.

Sadly the internet is saying Chris Waltz is bringing sales down.

Billion sellers are all about word of mouth.

Well neither word of mouth and lower critics review are helping Spectre it would have had to make a lot more then Skyfall to be as profitable anyway since its budget increased by $45 million over Skyfall despite it being mostly shot in Mexico you would have thought its budget could have been less then Skyfall.

I'm expecting Star Wars to hit $1 billion the first week.

Jurassic World did it in 13 days. Star Wars should do it in 7 or less.

It won't since it's not releasing China on the first week.

Also, Spectre isn't reaching $1B and since The Hunger Games is being received similarly, it won't either.

a sequel of course
or a comic movie
or a book adapted
or a remake
or 3D version
is anything else?

Well that hurts a bit.

Will be interesting to see first week without China and how it amasses total with first week alinged after China releases.

Star Wars wont beat Jurrasic Park to it, and in the states wont even pass Jurrasic Worlds total. My opinion. Although the crazy marketing will probably make me eat my words.

Did you just say Star Wars won't beat Jurassic World in the US?

There's a chance that it doesn't.
