I'm seeing it tomorrow night, very excite, looks like it's getting pretty decent reviews too, for a 2nd tier sort of Marvel Superhero. The Ant-Man concept seems like a tough sell to critics and non super fans, so I didn;t expect brilliant revciews, so to see a decent majority of reviews so far are positive is a good sign. Possibly the first really risky movie in the MCU and it looks like it might hold its own. It's won't make $1 billion but it should more than pay for itself and help keep the whole MCU behemoth moving forward.

Some friends want to see it, thinking next week or two go see it. I am hopeful for the writing given original director Edgar Wright and solid performance from Rudd.

I think Guardians of the Galaxy was the first risky venture for the MCU. I mean, I legitimately had no idea who the Guardians of the Galaxy were supposed to be prior to buying my movie ticket. I just heard it was good and went off the hype alone and it ended up being a great movie.

Ant-Man is definitely riskier though since he just isn't a very exciting hero, and they basically put the source material through a shredder and just used the bits and pieces they could figure out after, which is sure to put fans of the comics off. I'm somewhat interested, but I still don't know if I'm going to bother with seeing this one in theaters unless I hear it is just omg good (AKA, the reason I watched Mad Max: Fury Road).

Ant-man has been around for a long time, I think even before the X-men but he hasn't seen as much spot light thus the reason why many people don't know about him.

Same here!  7 PM for me on premiere night.  While I can't see myself watching it in theaters 4 times like Age of Ultron it seems to have that usual Marvel quality that puts them in a league of their own.

7 PM premier here too. I honestly don't even expect it to be good. My friends and I have this thing for going to see crappy movies in theaters, sometimes we get lucky and a movie ends up being good, but even if the movies are bad it's still fun to get together and go out. Plus, if it's awful we have something to joke about for the next like week.
