Yay! Pluto ftw.

I haven't been reading too much into this. What's next for New Horizons? The Voyager treatment?

first they'll try a fly-by of another Kuiper Belt Object and then it will probably go into deepspace like the Voyagers, but due to a much smaller RTG (radioisotope thermoelectric generator) it won't be able to operate for as long as those probes

I am still waiting for the next Moon mission, how the tech have been progress since the first mission to moon, maybe this time they will able to explore to the darker side of moon and build some moon base.

They've already identified a candidate object, which if confirmed, will have a flyby in 2019.

I watched the closest approach coverage live yesterday. Beautiful picture of the dwarf planet, and I'm looking forward to all the info that's going to follow. In the UK there'll be a Sky At Night TV programme on Monday 20th about the mission.

With this and the Philae lander waking up recently, there's a lot to look forward to over the coming months.

yea unfortunately contact to Philae was very brief since it woke up, hopefully they'll manage to stabilize the connection and collect the data it has stored/attempt even more experiments

Pluto's largest moon Charon has a dark area northern area that has been nicknamed "Mordor" in reference to Lord of the Rings. lol

Nintendo is selling their IPs to Microsoft and this is true because:
