Not selling a lot is also a good thing if m'y prédiction happens , even better, since Sony wont make an other handheld before a long time probably, so thé vita would live 2 générations of games and would get more games than a successful console living only one generation ( thats why i always Said people who think WiiU will be ahead will be surprised, Vita is meant to live far much longer , vita means life after all, n'aime chose well ) , i think it will become a cult object in japan

we havent even gotten Cyber Sleuth and this is already announced... i have a lot of Digimon to look forward in the future.

Maybe this is a sign of a big push for the Digimon IP in the future? With the new anime coming, maybe they want to get that franchise back in shape.

That actually looks pretty good from the game screenshots there. Assuming this is successful in Japan I guess this will get a PS4 port in the west as well so I might check it out in that case, still I'd rather get a Digimon game developed with PS4 hardware in mind.

Well, it sure won't be a easy choice as making a PSP successor, but I think they will want another handheld system to go with the PS5, that'll have full support to PS Now and be a great place to play PS4 games in the go, 

It sure doesn't look good now, but PSP was a success, so it'll be more than one failure after a success to definitely put they away.

Also Sony does sell a good bunch of SW with Vita, they have always been praising how much it's onwers support it.

Japan is really into mobile gaming, WAY more into smartphones, yeah, but there is still room for another HH IMO.

They just need to keep in mind it won't most definitely be another PSP success, but still a way to make a good system to get moderately sales and keep brand recognition and make some money as well.

Sony making another handheld would be extremely stupid of them imo. The dedicated handheld market will be dead in a matter of a couple years.

Isn't that a bit harsh? If you support it digitally, the series might become big enough to get retail releases worldwide. I understand digital is not ideal for most of us (myself included), but when it's our only choice, there's a reason for that. :/
