Forums - Sony Discussion - Trying to Platinum Diablo 3 and...

Only finished the game once so far with Crusader...it was so trivially easy I haven't worked up the desire to go through it again. Part of what made Diablo great was its unforgiving nature, and it's just nonexistent in #3.

After the end game when you're doing rifts and greater rifts it can get as difficult as you are skilled to get to higher levels to the point becomes close to impossible.  Obviously if you level and scale accordingly then can grind and past anything.

Anyone else tackled this Platinum?

No, I like my Demon Hunter and just did that to 70 (200) with no concern to platinum it.

The requirements doesn't seem that bad for this type of game. These games are meant to be played over years.

Leveling 5 different characters should be fun :)

I'm not at all a fan of Diablo 3 but if i were to apply this to Path of Exile or Diablo 2 then its really not so bad.

I got every trophy except the one that requires you to beat the game without dying a single time. I was so far, so far... like, in Act IV and then... BAM! I died. I rage quited this platinum after that. So unfair and demanding. =/

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

I've considered it but have only put one playthrough in so far. Seems like a huge grind to get the platinum. Though I did get the one for FFXIII so I'm not one to talk.

If I could get one to drop for me...I'd love to have some fun like that. But at the moment all that I have is the Cain's Set and Leoric's Signet.

The Greater Rifts are set to drop a Legendary Gem everytime until you get them all (even if you do GR1). So you can run away during the trials, get a GR1 key, obliterate everything easily and get a Legendary Gem in a couple minutes. Rinse and repeat until you get the Gem of Ease.

Signature goes here!

You don't need to go through all that work.. Especially if you are on ps3. There are sites out there with gamesaves set up before most of the trophies. You simply need to resign the save to your console and then play it on your account and get the trophy. Ps3 saves can be transfered to ps4.

Lol wow! I played a lot of Diablo III back in the day on PC. I just looked up the trophy list for Diablo III on PS4 and honestly.... it doesn't look very bad in comparison to some of the achievements on PC XD Though the plat looks incredibly boring to get and I'd rather play other games than bore my way through this., so I am really impressed your grinding you way through it and sticking with it. The bounties are boring as hell imo and turned me away from RoS. I MUCH preferred the original game and I felt like I had a more important goal to work towards on Inferno difficulty. It was actually hard as hell in comparison.

easiest way on ps3 is to use a game save editor. Then use that ps3 save and import it to your ps4.
