Did it by a couple of days faster then I thought it would do it. It opened in Italy yesterday so that country put it over the billion dollar mark.

Well its hard for a new IP to make more money then a established franchise, the Minions are very well established and popular characters. Anyway Inside Out's theatrical run is nowhere near from being over so it still will come close to making a billion also.
Inside Out will make at least $900 million by the time its done which will make it the second highest grossing Pixar movie and the highest grossing since Toy Story 3 which is the highest grossing. I don't think their next movie The Good Dinosaur will make nearly as much but that one will make a ton on merchandising. The next two after that Finding Dory and Toy Story 4 should easily make over a billion each.
