There are still many weeks to go before RoTR releases, but look at all those games releasing at about the same time, and of course one very notable game not releasing until next year (UC4). And yet according to VGC RoTR hasn't even got 20K pre-orders on either platform. Either this can;t be right or it's looking very bad for RoTR. Is it really a case of everyone seeming to be prioritising other games ahead of RoTR, and that RoTR is on the "will get eventually" list?

I also see Ass Creed Syndicate is suffering very low pre-orders too, I wonder if franchise fatigue is going to hit that game really hard. Or if perhaps pre-ordering for these action games just takes a bit longer to come online.

Should we? Don't know, I don't think it's very surprising (even though vgchartz pre orders aren't the most accurate source by a long shot), the game's not going to light the charts on fire this holiday season.

Fact and vgc numbers dont get along. Pre orders in particular are always just all kinds of wrong

I think it will get good sales thanks to holiday season, but it is coming out amongst some big games on a console that will be releasing 2 games, one which is one of the biggest franchises that made the console what it is.

I think that VGC preorder chart is worthless, so it is not a valid indication of ROTR potential success or failure.
But I do think that the game will get lost in the barrage of big guns releasing around it, and that it will do poorly this holiday season.

Let's face it, why Tomb Raider should sell well on a Xbox console ? LOL
Most of the Tomb Raider fans are from the PS1 era, remembering the good days of classic PS1 games. The franchise of Tomb Raider, after many bad games, is still living thanks to the die hard fans of the series... that they're mostly on PlayStation consoles.

This could've been different during the PS3/360 era, where many old-PS1/PS2 fans decided to buy a 360 because it was cheaper, but right now I'm not going to expect great sales for a Tomb Raider Xbone timed exclusive.

Hey don't click here ! It's creepy !!

I want a PlayStation All-Stars Sequel ! Come on Sony, stop making too many shooters !

I'll make a better signature when I'll have time to do it...

I've been told that the pre-order charts are not to be taken seriously.

All the PS TR fans know it's coming ton PS4 so it's quite irrelevant.

There's only 2 races: White and 'Political Agenda'
2 Genders: Male and 'Political Agenda'
2 Hairstyles for female characters: Long and 'Political Agenda'
2 Sexualities: Straight and 'Political Agenda'

Definitive edition sold 3 times better on PS4, I'm sure ROTR will sell better on PS4 also.

Those pre-orders are a mess. Terraria's been out on Xbox One for months. How can it be getting pre-orders?
