Love a bigger world to explore and even more puzzles. Those are two of the bigger things that set the reboot apart from Uncharted.

While the reboot was open world, technically, it was open world in the same sense as Bloodborne; just a big map with corridors running through throughout it like a maze, but no real ability to explore the whole thing as more than half the area could not physically be explored. Overall, it still felt extremely linear, the upside to that being you could return to most areas you already explored to complete other objectives and collectibles.

Not sure why you're trying to redefine the meaning of open world here, my post didn't say open world. I am aware the first game was not open world, but it was very big and allowed for a hell of a lot more exploration than your typical nowaday action title, particularly Uncharted. Which, again, is a good thing. I don't want Uncharted with a female lead. I want something different. TR was different. And it's expanding on two of the things that made it most different. So that's awesome. If I want pure action don't stray from the corridor I can play Uncharted 4. If I want something a little slower paced with more exploration and use my brain a little more I can play Tomb Raider. And I didn't get a linear feeling from the reboot in the slightest.

CD saved TR from the pits of hell. Tomb Raider was on its last breath before the reboot.
Instead of making it a run of the mill shooter adventure, Crystal Dynamic got us a genuine survival adventure game a la Indiana Jones.
