Bernie Sanders is so old...I fear a not Cheney problem where every week we all take bets on whether or not he has his fifth seizure. Triple bypass surgery during the 2017 global nuke talks anyone? If we want an old and dying American to be President we may as well make it a celebrity while we are at it and nominate Clint Eastwood. Old and famous! Seeming how I have never heard of this 100 year old Mr. Sanders he must be a nobody. Probably has way less money than Jeb Bush anyways.

That's what's so great... Bernie Sanders can be president, and his running mate can be Elizabeth Warren. And then, when he carks it, it'll be President Warren. She's not willing to run for president (at least, so far), but she'd probably be more open to being the running mate.

bernie isnt a communist...  and 90% taxes for the 1%ers wouldnt be new. kennedy was the one that got the rates down to 70%.

if 90% taxrate makes you a commi, ike and nixon were commies.

Oh excuse me, he is a socialst, which is a lesser form of communism.  SO much better!

In an european election, he wouldn't even count as a left-wing candidate. He would probably be considered a center-right candidate, like most democrats would. At "worst" he would be a centrist, neither left- or right-wing.

The republicans, on the other hand, are a clear right wing party pretty far from center by european standards. So far in fact, that some of their "standards" (for lack of finding a better word)(big military, walling off mexico, jingoistic antics...) are seen by some as proto-faschist. While it's clear this ain't intended by the GOP, it's also understandable why around 90% of the people outside US hope for a democrat to win. This wasn't always the case, but in the last 20 years the republicans moved more and more to the right, and the more moderate figures growing increasingly silent.

I think Hilary will make a good president. Bill Clinton was a good president and she'll obviously be able to lean on his guidance.

What is your stance on Clinton deleting governmental emails?

Or how about the Clinton foundation?

I hope Hilary loses because I'm afraid what she will do with the marijuana legalization in states. She believes it is a gateway drug and would probably crack down on the states. Someone give this lady a joint.  She did meet with some pro pot advocate who is a rich lawyer in Florida awhile back.  Perhaps he got her to chill the fuck out on her stance.

You can say this is one of the worst lineup of candidates;  the republican lineup is pure shit.   Joe the plumber might as well run for them.

Also, you can't mention Sanders right after Trump.  That is too much of a disgrace.

definitely not the worst, Republicans have a handful of good, qualified candidates, but media is focusing entirely on the stupid stuff the more right-wing ones say because that's what the media always does in Republican primaries. Democrats of course have a monopoly going on with their primary which is unfortunate but at least there's a few candidates still running to represent different views.

yeah, i mean who are you talking about?  its hard to say who is the crazy right wing and who is the qualified candidate...

jeb bush said he would have started an illegal war that leaded to the rise of isis like his brother(crazy george).

the only good candidate is rand paul, he has values and balls, but well he is crazy like his dead, and desperate to win.

Well here is my view...

The democratic field is just sad. Nobody credible is jumping in to go against Hillary, so it is going to be Hillary. As far as what I think of Hillary... She isn't too bad. I don't like her... Nor do I dislike her... She is basically the democratic version of Mitt Romney to me.

As for the Republican field... It is mostly a mess. Some of them are absolutely horrible like Cruz and trump. Then they have a bunch of mediocre has beens. However, there are a couple I kinda like, Rubio and Christie would definitely get my support of they make it through the primary. Not too sure about Walker, but he might be ok, have to wait and see what he does... Jeb Bush is like Hillary, don't like or dislike... Another Romney...

I am curious to hear your view or anyone elses view about Hillary Cliton:

What is your view of her deleting governmental emails.  What do you think of her Clinton Foundation?

A lot of people will probably vote for Hillary just because she's a chick, lol. Kinda like how a lot of black folk who didn't really vote voted for Obama.

I half want her to win just to see if it will shut up people claiming that we live in a Patriarchy. I mean, it wont...but it would be nice.

But then again its Hillary Clinton, so no thanks...

That wouldn't actually prove much other then that the average person isn't a raging sexist, which isn't what Patriachy is about. It'd be like assuming that systematic racism isn't a problem because Obama is president.

Essentially our systems were built on certain prejudices and the basis of those still effects society today, it shouldn't always even be drawn into negative/positive. Say for example you had a bunch of children look at two smartly dressed adults, one female, one male and you asked them who is the boss and who is the employer. If the majority presumed the male to be the boss, that would support the argument of us living in Patriachy as the children would associate the males with authority/power. It doesn't mean that Women can never be bosses or be in positions of power/authority or that they're never favoured when compared to men (say art, caregiver or organisational roles).
