Yeah, I agree Super Mario Maker has a much better shot of taking the title for the whole year unless Nintendo messes up and under ships it. Props to Splatoon though for being in the conversation and showing that the Japanese console gamer isn't extinct or monogamous with Mario they were just waiting on the right title.
