Hi there folks!

I was wondering what people like to do when a karma system is present in a game. About me, I ALWAYS play the good guy in all games.

Seriously, even if I'm replaying a game I have finished as a good guy, I just can't play as the opposite. For example I recently restarted Fallout 3 since I bought the Game of the Year Edition with all the DLCs and I really couldn't act as an asshole. I know that I will miss things I never had the chance to see (like blowing up Megaton), but it can't be helped :)

The only exception I think is the InFamous series, mostly because of trophies.

What about you?

At the begining, I always want to play as the bad guy but when the choice comes I always choose the "good guy" options.

Both, complete loss of value if you don't. Also play both genders if given the choice.

I games with good/bad I go with good.
In persona good/bad/troll system I go with troll.

First run: good guy
Second run: bad guy

In Fallout 3 I always took the action that yielded the best reward.

Only quest I really felt bad about was the one when you have to enslave all those people. You sort of free them later on but I still felt like shit.

Nintendo is selling their IPs to Microsoft and this is true because:

if the options that are given in the game either make my character a collected professional or just a complete asshole, then I'll most likely go with the route that makes more sense to me for the story. Which in most cases happen to be the good route.

Dno why, but I always tend to play the Good guy XD. Thought I do try to play the bad guy the next time I play the game again.

Always the good guy first, if the game is good enough then I'll play as the bad guy on a 2nd playthrough. I'd be more interested in playing as the bad guy if he was actually ya know, bad. Usually they are just arrogant dicks but not really that much of a bad guy.

That's true, maybe the reason why I don't find the bad guy role compelling is because most games let you play as an asshole more than a true evil guy.

Good always, I physically feel bad doing bad things in games.

But for Infamous for example I'll do a second bad playthrough to see what happens and clean up the trophies, but I don't find it easy.
