Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Nintendo of America has dropped Plans For US Release of Devil's Third

Nintendo may be holding things back but they're still interested at the very least. One look at this year's lineup is enough to see that.

Yes, Nintendo are, sure.  But that's not what I said.  Are Nintendo of America still interested in it? :P

It' not like Sony is publishing all the third party stuff they get on the Vita.

I don't understand what you're saying here, sorry.

I can't see the video.

And I think we should wait, NoA does messed up retarded stuff every once in while, but I believe they learned from their Xenoblade fiasco.

And people, get it together.... Sonic Boom was developed by Big Red Button and published by SEGA.

I'm gonna need to take a look at reviews. I'm very curious.

I honestly never saw the appeal. I always thought this was going to be a train wreck.

Then again, NOA did give us Sonic Boom....

that was Sega though that is like blaming Sony or Microsoft for Ride to Hell just because they let a third party publisher released on their platform.

I was more referring to the exclusive Sonic contract, so I view it differently. Good point though.

Oh come on, we want this game & don't care about frame rate. :-S

That's what I meant. Nintendo of America is still giving us Yoshi, Super Mario Maker, Xenoblade Chronicles X, Star Fox Zero, Fatal Frame, Amiibo Crossing and Mario Tennis this year, and SMTxFE early next year and Zelda later on in 2016.

So yeah, I'd say they're interested, just slacking.

Official Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Thread

NOA should release it in Na because they already announced it for NA- Nintendo has played the "bait and switch" wayyyy too much during the short lifespan of the Wii U- they are burning some bridges along he way as well

NA is the largest market for Nintendo yet we have to wait months for X, Yoshi and we are not even getting Devils 3rd-

I really think Nintendo is planning on going full casual w their next home console - They will act like and even have some games directed to their core base (but most marketing and some games will still be casual) for the launch of NX but then they will go full casual

Was it ever confirmed FFV was indeed going to be digital-only (rumour back then?) release? It's like Nintendo likes taking a deuce on the few Wii U games I actually want to play. It's like they're getting on their knees begging me to not buy their next console

Hasn't been confirmed, but they did make a comment not too long ago that they want to provide a retail option for their games. I don't imagine they'll make a 16GB game digital-only, but who knows.

They also had the new Pokemon Mystery Dungeon game marked with the e-shop orange borders, so maybe it's just placeholder until they reveal the box art and release date.

Very disappointed to hear, both it not coming to NA and the supposed poor quality of the game.
