The wording in your thread is abhorrent. I can see what you're trying to say though, and I agree. Particularly with Yokai Watch. Level-5 is known to milk their franchises to a sad death and it seems they're dead-set on doing the same with Yokai Watch. However, I think YW has more staying power than Professor Layton or Inazuma ever did.

And your last sentence is just plain wrong. The 3DS has sold well in Japan and is continuing to be #1, despite it slowing down. I'd say the 3DS is near its saturation point in the market but we may get to 20 million sometime in the future.

I get the feeling that Youkai Watch is going to flame out. Level 5 wants their money now rather than over time.

As far as Pokemon goes, I expect Nintendo to give it the full Madden treatment eventually.

The 3DS is showin its age already, its sales aren't low because of gmes, they are low because everyone that wanted a 3DS already has one. After 2016, the NX should take its thunder, so the handheld market could have that new blood it needs. I agree that Level 5 is using the Youkai Watch franchise too carelesly, its has grown too big too fast.

It is Japan. They love games like Pokemon and Final Fantasy since decades.

Yokai Watch 3 got delayed to 2016.

Add Dragon Quest to that and visual novel dating sims.

This thread makes little sense. You might as well ask if PS4/XBO owners get tired of Call of Duty/Assassin's Creed every year.

Btw, Yokai Watch 3 and a new mainline Pokemon aren't releasing this year. Again, not sure of this thread's purpose.

Edit: And 3DS may be in a funk but it is still easily the best selling platform over there.
