It's an excellent game, with some of the highest production qualities you will find anywhere. I've seen an equal amount of complaining that "there's too much bat mobile" and "the design is played out." Well, you can't have it both ways, and I respect the innovation. Any Batman fan who says, "we never wanted the bat mobile; we never asked for it" should punch him/herself square in the face. EVERY Batman fan wanted to drive the batmobile, and it's integrated fairly well. Is it used too often? Possibly, but not to the point of overkill. Do its controls lack intuitiveness? Yes. Are they terrible? No, but they will frustrate you when you NEED precision for AR challenges.
Personally, my biggest gripes were with the audio mixing (It seems terribly balanced.), the complete lack of tutorials (It's been long time, Arkham Origins, and these challenges require a million combos.), and the randomness of AR challenges (No, please feel free to give me no time and random enemy placement.). Overall, the effort put into making the game is evident, and the result is fantastic. It could have been done better, though.
