Im a hugee metroid fan, i love all metroid games and i actually quite enjoyed metroid other M despite some flaws it had. As most of you im a huge nintendo fan and i was dissapointed at this years nintendo E3, but if now lets say Federation force gets a metascore of 85 minimum would you buy it then or consider it? Im still doubting it will have that score because of the huge backlash , but you never know. I might would consider if it would turn out better then we all expected, if it does then i think i would apologise to nintendo. Still i dont think thats likely.

No. The premise and control scheme are what I don't want. Even if it's a good game. That's not changing with a high score.

I don't use other reviewers to determine whether I'll buy a game or not. Honestly, the only reason I read reviews is because I like knowing other people's opinions, not because I want to determine whether to get a game or not.

but if alot of people say its a really good game and you watch gameplay videos and it would turn out to be really good, would you buy it?

Would even get it with a lower score, if it has motion aiming or touch aiming. However I have a big backlog which I need to play first ...

Edit: Maybe I should have informed myself better. Wikipedia says no touch aiming ... it's a maybe now.

I'm not too big of a metroid fan so I probably won't get it either way.

i need to wait for the final product and see if it would suit my taste. don't really care that much on the metascore, as long as like the genre and gameplay with decent graphics.
