Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Will New 3DS ever have an exclusive?

N3DS shouldnt exist

Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:

 PS4: 17m   XB1: 10m    WiiU: 10m   Vita: 10m

Xenoblade on 3DS didn't exactly light up the sales charts, so I wouldn't count on many N3DS exclusive games.

better not have an exclusive due to the number of 3DS XLs and 3DS already been sold. software sales would help better the whole 3DS line rather than N3DS alone. again people are waiting for what is NX, if it is a handheld, hc, or both. so most gamers especially in Japan won't buy a n3DS.

but what would i know, if n3DS has Dragon Quest XI (which SE mentions it would be on hc). did they deny it won't come into handheld? or hc exclusive? :D

Why don't they make games which have enhanced graphics and sound on the New 3DS? I thought that was going to be an obvious choice going forward.

I can see few exclusives happen for N3DS but nothing more.

Yes A must buy which will push hardware like New Monster Hunter or New Mario!

Switch!!!

It's mostly an enhanced experience with faster loading times, multitasking (Miiverse on Smash 3ds), better controls, better 3D, bigger screen. And that's fine.

There will be some titles exclusive not playable on normal 3DS. I know Binding of Isaac and Xenoblade, there probably will be some more titles but not many big titles, which is good and makes sense.

NES, SNES, N64, GC, Wii, WiiU, GB, GBC, GBA, DS, 3DS, Mega Drive, Game Gear, PS1, PS2, PSP, XBOX 360, Atari Lynx

As long as games have certain features that can only be activated by the n3ds hardware (like majoras mask) I'm happy. I don't have to have another xenoblade. Tell you what though I'm used to that little nub now and wouldn't go back to the old 3ds I had.

As someone who bought a new3DS as his first 3DS (first Nintedo consoles since the GBA), I'm fairly happy with my new3DS, though not wowed by Xenoblade at all so far...

What I'm happy with is the much improved loading times versus my brother's old3DS

What I'm not happy with is the battery life

But given how Xenoblade looks, I don't know if there is that much point in pursuing games based on graphics. The new3DS still seems to be behind the Vita (not that it really counts), phones and just absurdly far behind my PC and PS4

When I start a game, I immediately wish it looked sharper, but the new3DS doesn't really change that. They've taken the approach of not being hugely interested in graphics and the new3DS isn't a big leap in that regard

Zelda Trance force isn't limited by hardware for it to have only 3 players. It was a design choice.

I honestly don't think there will be anymore exclusives for it other than Xenoblade 3D
