Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Are you interested in Mario Maker?

So in the past i heard alot people saying they are interested in mario maker.

I cant really understand that.

There are dozens of free mario level editors already available for pc.

Just check this: (Possibly illegal link removed)

An example Level made with a flash game mario editor:

A flash based mario game including a complete editor. I just need 5-10 minutes to get used to the editor and got a pretty good level.

In my Opinion its ridicoulus that nintendo will selling such a title probl at full price (40-60$). Even a flash game can do it (probl made my one person as a hobby).

I'm interested. : ) The thought of being able to make levels with different styles to change to on the fly and being able to play other people's stages from around the world sounds like a great idea! I think a lot of great things could come out of this, but that's me. x )

After NWC, I'm very interested.

The levels that you can make is just absurd, and I can't wait to see what kinds of chaos people will be making online.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

Ehhh... not particularly.

You can't seriously compare that shitty flash level editor with Mario Maker...

Mario Maker is easier to use, has more content, you can create levels for 4 different Mario games, you can also play levels created by other people, and you can play as Link!!!

The flash game can't compete with Mario Maker.

A tripple A nintendo title fro a 8th gen console (hey, its their 2nd big game next to starfox) vs a flashgame.

After I heard about the 100 levels, Day 1 for me

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

I'm definitely more interested thanks to the NWC but it still won't be a Day 1 buy for me.

I think it and Xenoblade X will be my first Wii U games (in addition to some cheap used games.) So yeah.
