People are so concerned about the story.. really? Minecraft doesn't really have a story and you know you enjoy that. (Virtual Legos, who doesn't like that?)

Pretty sure people complaining about "lack of story" are just looking for something to complain about. Smh.

Well I don't like Minecraft. I like having a goal in my games, even if it's as simple as rescuing a princess or something, it gives a reason to keep playing. A game like this I would probably enjoy for 1 session or 2 at most because there is not a reason to keep playing for me, that is why I ask if there is a story, I'm not just looking for "something to complain about" I ask a real question because the game looks interesting.

So being creative and building whatever you want to build, weather it's a small village or modern city, isn't having a goal? That right there IS a goal. If I want to build the tree from the movie Avatar, I can set that as a goal to achieve.

So basically you just are saying the game has to have a story in order for it to be "playable"

With that logic though, every game you have played you shouldn't play again because you already achieved what you wanted to achieve. There is as you put it, no reason to keep playing it. Lol

I'm not saying you HAVE to like Minecraft, I'm just saying your reasoning behind not liking it is flawed.

Ok fine, one of the goals is to travel to the center of the universe like the guy said in the video. So there you go.

1) I'm not much of a creative person, so those types of games are not for me.

2) I guess I word it wrong, with games that have a story or a predetermined goal, I like the feel of progression, clearing a world in Mario, beating a dungeon in Zelda, completing a story segment in a RPG, that is why I replay these games because I feel like I made some sort of progress.

So traveling the universe, collecting materials and cataloging data isn't progess? lol

I'm still not sold on this game. It looks kinda boring imo. Yet again, I said the same thing about Minecraft, until I played it and loved it. It'll probably end up the same way with this game. I'm most likely going to give this a chance though.

That was my question in the beginning, if there was some sort of objective to the game, thank you. If it was mentioned in the video, I'm sorry I did not watch it I just wanted to know if there was an objective.

This game will be huge on PC. Hope it sells well on PS4 too.

Oh ok. But the video would have been the best place to find that out.

Not really, the main objective is to reach the center of the galaxy (whats there is a secret)

Can't wait! I was convinced the first time I saw it
