So it worked with another browser? If the problem if Firefox that would be weird cuz that is what I am using right now and no problems. Must be some personal settings in your computer or something????

I could access settings but uploading the same picture or a reencode of the same picture does the same.

I think the website treats the profile pictures when it's uploaded to get it in different versions that appears on different parts of the interface and the part which is bugged has code that needs fixing (Might bug only with pictures having these exact proportions or something).

It's definitely an avatar dimensions issue. Look what happened to mine when I changed to this picture lol

Indeed. Website is supposed to support up to 1:2.25 ratio according to rules though, and mine is under 1:2.10 so it should work.

Well i guess i can live with that now that i can access everything. Thanks for all your help guys, and finding the exact definition of the bug.

the pic is too tall for the div container. The container is probably set to a specific length so your pic pushes everything down. The container needs to be set to a variable size, or profile pictures need to be set to automatically crop

There's always a shortcut for going to Settings though, if you enter "Notifications", "Messages" or "Friend Requests" you'll find the "Profile Settings" option there and that can help us to get out of this bug in the future.

Well the profile pictures already get cropped both on the general overlay (upper right corner) and profile page (upper left), so it's weird it doesn't crop for this particular instance. I do remember avatar and signature rules were changed kinda recently (a year or so ?) so maybe the website code wasn't change to support it (supports up to 1:2.0 or so ratio instead of the 1:2.25 in the forum rules)
