Metal Gear Solid is the reason I bought my PS3, PSP and PS4.

Pikmin or Paper Mario are the big ones for me. I bought a Wii U at launch because I knew Pikmin 3 wasn't far away (and I was happy with the other games at launch, too).

I'd probably also buy a console straight away if there was a Baten Kaitos game, although I realise I may be alone in that.
