your not taking into account digital sales on the consoles. It still might be under tracked, but not too bad. Also this is the type of game that could have a strong second week. The hype grew alot for it once it came out and people saw the reviews and such.

I know RPGs do better on the Playstation side.. but I figoured with a wRPG like Witcher, there wouldnt be as big a differnce.

Anyways good sales for the witcher.
Selling 1.7million physical copies day 1, has to be a good thing.
