In the same way as Hyrule Warriors got a 3D version, will Splatoon have a 3DS version of Splatoon? Considering the sales of the Wii U version, I wouldn't doubt that Nintendo would make a 3DS version to take advantage of the sales potential.

Nah, they'll save for the next handheld /console thingy majiggy (going by everyone theories about nintendo's future)

I really doubt this. The next splatoon will be on NX.  I'm not even sure that the 3DS's internet capabilities could handle such an online multiplayer focused game.  I can't even play a game of super smash bros on my 3DS online without experiencing insane lag and I doubt this would change with splatoon.

They might do a spinoff, but I don't see them porting Splatoon or doing an official sequel on the 3DS. They'll save that for the next system.

Maybe a spinoff, but I don't see something like Splatoon 2 being on the 3DS, or any handheld for that matter.

A spinoff is possible, but not a direct port, that would just be way too uncomfortable to play, a game like Splatoon needs joysticks to be comfortable to play, aside that moving the camera maybe a bit annoying, even with it being a N3DS exclusive.



COMG guide to points: 1 point = Raging. 2 points = Beasting. 3 points = Tearing it up. 4 points = Berzerk. 7 points = Rampage. 12 points = Burst. 15 points = god mode. 20+ points = DIVIDING BY ZERO!!! 40+ points = Youkai (originally Pokemon).

-1 = Negabeasting. -5= NegaRampage. -10 = NegaBurst
