As for casting, meh. As for acting, even more meh.

Nothing wrong with a black jedi. Its just that storm troopers are clones right? How can one be black, unless they are all black??? Or it could just be a disguise for a scene or two.

I can't comment on any of the new actors but my enthusiasm for all of the new cast isn't very high. Worst of all is that twirp from girls. Adam Diver or something, he looks like a fool.

They were only clones during the clone wars. After the Kamino cloning facility was destroyed between the events of episode III and IV by Galen Marek, the empire had to resort to using real people as Stormtroopers. Trust me, there were no shortage of people to be stormtroopers. Half the time it was "Join us or die". I think Episode VII is going to make this a lot more clear because we are going to see a fair few stormtroopers/commanders unmasked. They now have female stormtroopers post episode VI. The Imperials were down but not out and VII takes 30 years later.

Anyone who would be upset about this is an obvious racist.I am glad and hope to see more none white characters with leading or major roles in Sci-Fi movies.

I don't think any start wars film had one main actor. The original 3 was a combination of Luke, Leia, and Solo, with possible inclusion of C3P0, R2, Darth, Yoda and Obi Wan.

This film will be no different with Luke and gang replacing the old mentors.

As for more of the original trilogy, fans are happy as this trilogy is going into the story of the Inquisitors, which means it's naturally progressing from the original trilogy.

As for John Boyega, people just need to get over it. I think it is far worse seeing Asian and Arab roles being taken up by white people dressed up as Asians and Arabs. Hardly anyone bats an eye then.

Lol, call me what you want, but that black Dude just doesnt fit to be a main character / jedi. I loved Samuel in his Role as a Jedi, but he did fit in this role, and he is a good and cool actor ( one of my favorite )

He's actor, he was cast. He can't play Luke Skywalker, that's a different character. You know this complaint would be like complaining Black Panther exists.

Blacks don't need some starring role in a movie. Just because someone is a minor black character, doesn't mean they're "token" or a "stereotype" or stupid shit like that. No, I would say as soon as things like Affirmitive Action ends will we have made some sort of step toward " equality" or whatever it is. One ofvthe biggest problems for black people is, in my own opinion, the fact that they cry racism over EVERYTHING...
