Pretty much. Wherever the US goes, Canada follows.

From what I understand the CAD will be worth less USD because the USD will go up?

There were some Canadian politicians who actually wanted to lower the Canadian Dollar anyway to make our exporters appear more attractive. Prices for us will go up though PS4 at $700 confirmed

It won't ever get that bad. The Bank of Canada will probably just raise interest rates and lower the supply of money if the CAD value falls too much. But most of the time, a lower CAD is good for the economy. More of our exports are sold and Canadians are forced to spend more.

Greece will never be able to pay all that debt and ultimately, all the billions of debt they owe will be cancelled. And if that debt is cancelled, its exactly what the Greeks would have wanted. A few months ago they were asking the Germans to pay $200bn in reparations for the damage the Nazi's caused in WW2, so I think cancelling most of Greek debt is fair.

Greece is gonna go down swinging. I can't blame them for refusing the deal. They'd be screwed completely with it.

Raise your hands if you're surprised by this.

Noone? Didn't think so. This result was near inevitable because if you're in such a situation then the only possible way out would appear to be change. Unfortunately it doesn't always work like that, and Greece had better hope that they haven't blown arguably their best chance at striking a deal. Because the possible consequences of this are huge.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

Yeah, the Grexit should come any moment now. I think it's the right thing to do though. There's no way in hell Greece will ever pay back all the money from the IWF, and that's not the only one they need to pay. They just have to start from 0 and work their way up. It's going to be tough, but it can work out. I just hope they don't get victims of massive corruption again.

But that's it with any help from the EU. Which is good at this point. I don't see why my children should pay for Greece's failure. I mean, you have other countries like Ireland, Portugal and Spain which also had problems. But they got their shit together with the help from EU. Greece didn't and that's their own fault.

Not even close. We'll never see the PS4 at 700$.
