Its official, the "No" side has won the Greek referendum.  With 61% of the vote [no], greek's have decided to reject the bailout offer from the EU. With this vote, multiple complications could occur for the Greek population. One of those includes being kicked from the Euro. It also means a long period pf pain for greece, as they'll be forced to default on their debt, making an already poor country even poorer. The banks could run out of money in days, and it seems likely it'll also be days before they're back with the drachma (a currency much weaker, so it adds to the people being poor already). So its official, Greece will sink into an abyss, and they'll be bringing down their entire country with them. It'll be like 2010, only twice as worse as they now lose a strong currency (for now at least).

Greece will fail, and they'll bring down Greece with them.

This is a disaster.

You are a bully.

How so? Also how are you in bad shape, you live in Austria. The economy is doing just fine as far as I'm concerned.

Yeah, they were doing it so well following what the EU dictated to them.

Costly game of chicken. This plus China's recent stock sell of should put financial markets in a bind.

XD. Though I admit I kinda agree....

Well done Greece.

I´m very worried about them, the country could be collapsing this summer.

But I admire them too, this a very brave decision and I would vote NO too, the only reason to vote YES was fear and that NEVER should be a reason to vote, now at least they have hope for something better, it´s very risky though.

So who here knows stocks? I hear that a lot of investors are moving from using the Euro to using the Yen or the US Dollar. This means that my Canadian Dollar will bounce because the two (CAD and USD) are linked. That's as far as my knowledge goes. What will the London Stock Exchange look like Monday?

Pretty much. Wherever the US goes, Canada follows.

From what I understand the CAD will be worth less USD because the USD will go up?

There were some Canadian politicians who actually wanted to lower the Canadian Dollar anyway to make our exporters appear more attractive. Prices for us will go up though PS4 at $700 confirmed
