Forums - Nintendo Discussion - What COULD save the Wii U? It's pretty simple

Another "What could possibly save the Wii U" Thread, I guess most people haven't realized it: The System is almost three years old and is going in it's fourth. Nothing can save the Wii U from it's ultimate fate anymore (haven't Darth Vader said somethign similar?).

Metroid Prime 4 - Obvious why

Animal Crossing U - This would definitely help boost a lot of units

Yokai-Watch U - Now THIS would save the Wii U in Japan at least. Like it would sell pretty damn amazing. (Yokai-Watch is selling better than Pokemon in Japan. Not sure if it will sell great in the west, but it would boost Wii U in Japan)

Pokemon Red/Blue HD remake - This would boost sales practically everywhere

Nintendo making a deal with Capcom to release an exclusive Wii U Monster Hunter. If it was Monster Hunter 5, it would no doubt boost a ton. Especially in Japan.

EDIT: I am not asking for what is possible, what won't happen, what might be possible etc.

I am not asking if it would be better for Nintendo to save these for the Wii U's successor or not.

All I am saying with this post is what the Wii U needs in order to be saved. Regardless of probability.

I know we're not talking about facts or something but this is so highly unrealistic it even hurts to read such thoughts alone. Nothing of this will ever happen, most of it (Metroid, Animal Crossing) is even confirmed.

I love my Wii U. There wasn't a single moment I ever thought of selling it. The only Achievement left for the Wii U is reducing the Damage it has caused. But the fate of the Wii U is sealed, it will most likely become Nintendos worst selling System since the Virtual Boy. Of course the Virtual Boy performed far more worse. And no, I won't thnk there will be even the slightest chance the Wii U will catch up with the numbers of the GameCube which doesen't look this bad anymore after the Wii U.

After cheering almost 3 years for a wonderful System like the Wii U, I'm tired but I will purely enjoy the announced Games. So, yeah, I don't care for numbers anymore.

Needs a price cut to help it.

Not even this will help anymore. Like I said before it may polish the numbers (reducing the Damage), but Nintendo is already selling the Console at a loss. So it won't change the situation if there is a price cut or not. It won't change anything.

In any case I would love to have them to try and release all those games!

Switch!!!

Given that we can say unlikely things, GTA VI and COD and Battlefield and Assassin's Creed exclusive to the Wii U!

how doy ou know that the Wii U is already selling at a loss?

All of those things put together would at best sell a couple million consoles, most of which would be concentrated in Japan.

Lets call this by what it actually is: OP made a list of games he wants to play on his Wii U not what would save the Wii U

nothing will save the Wii U may as well put the good shit on their next system. hell move zelda as well force people to buy hardware.

Jesus, another thread like this

When will you guys accept that nothing can/will save the Wii U? Move on

There are so many factors that "killed" the Wii U

The original post suggested what he would think would push for more console sales especially in Japan.  The title of the thread is what could have save the Wii U?  We have similar threads but what games you think would push for console sales. OP mentioned Japan centric games but it should be known that Wii U should also cater European and US market to have great sales.
