Yeah, the cast of Fates certainly seems...familiar in large part, so I'm willing to believe. Still, what's your source?
If you guys want proof, search Tharja Fire Emblem Fates. Click the second link.

The personality description is pretty spot on too. Looks like there's a half-dozen characters so far who are essentially pallete-swaps of Awakening characters, and that'll probably go up as the third DLC path is made available.

Oh, this goes way beyond reminding me of Awakening characters. Check out the character roster on Serenes Forest if you're curious. In both looks and personality description, we have Tharja/Syalla, Gaius/Grey, Cordelia/Matoi, Severa/Luna, and Inigo/Lazward. There are other characters who do remind me of other characters too, mind you, but the above are basically clones. And we also have Anna, but that's just cheating.

I see what you mean now. The character count is at ~70, so they probably cut a corner here and there. Or maybe there is a plot twist and some characters are coming from another dimension. |
Considering the recruitable kids, and that some of the retreads have no past, I can see that. Hope they do it in a manner that doesn't just make me face palm though.
