Both games sell heavily in the west. Metal Gear also influenced a lot of western games. The philosophy behind that game isnt really geared towards Japanese people even though its made by a Japanese guy.

Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise

I know

Judging from its sales it will push a couple consoles in Japan. Not many but in terms of copies I think this is the MGS that will sell a million in Japan.

MGS declining in popularity, the hype for MGS: TPP is higher than any other MGS game. I go to school and people are talking about it, and I'm like "O you like MGS". They always say "no I thought it was a new game?"
