Welp. I'm not trying to get into a debate over our different preferences, but am merely stating what I liked about FE Awakening (FE13) and how these little mechanics made the game really enjoyable (at least for me) and subsequently, why it is one of my top 5 favourite games of all time..

FE13 percisely allowed me to choose which characters I want to use because of the reclassing system. FE12 allowed you to reclass but it maintained your level and yout stats so it wasn't all that useful. If there is another item that allows you to go back to level one, then that would be great, though I would prefer the 2nd seal to have both features in one item (less money spent)

Playing so many FE games, item strategizing is really important. Therefore, picking a weapon is also really important. Before, weapons also had weight so it would be like "do I choose a iron sword that can double hit for 14 x 2 damage or a silver sword that can hit for 20" (something like that) and usually, the weaker weapons are better, hence why I would like to use bronze/iron over steel/silver (also because stronger weapons have less durability). By adding buffs/debuffs, it makes things more confusing and strategizing a lot more annoying. "If this unit is attacked, he will suffer a defence penalty... and if 4 coms target him, he may not survive because of these added negative effects" It's something I don't really want to spend time calculating and such. I may end up using bronze and iron weapons too if these debuffs get too annoying

I also don't really find having overpowered characters a bad thing. Normally in JRPGS, I would like to be overleveled so it's easier for me. Grind early so it's a smooth ride later, basically. My type of playing style so even if I had 1-2 characters breeze through a stage, that's what I'd prefer instead of having to restart multiple times to prevent my characters from dying

Again, this is mainly my preference so I understand why you find these changes okay, but for me, it just irks me a lot. A few minor changes is okay, but I feel that there are wayy to many changes for this game so I won't enjoy it as much.

(The double attacking thing is that ranged weapons that are not normally supposed to be ranged (tomes, javelins, hand axes) will be unable to double attack when fighting at a range. A huge nerf to mages, imo.)

Bravely Second and Fire Emblem Fates...

Yeah, 2016 is EASILY better than the terrible 2015.

Yeah! So far this year, i only bought Conception 2 for the 3DS (since it was on sale). And i think the only game i will be buying next is the Animal Crossing HHD.
