It's definitely a handled system. Less powerful than the old gen hardware (when it will release), use Android, 6 years after the 3DS...It's a handled.

Most of the nintendo users, buy it for the games not the graphics its capable of. |
yes, and look at where the WiiU is now. If they want to be successful the COD, Battlefield, Batman, AC, and other multiplats of the world need to be on their console and at least comparible.
psn- tokila
add me, the more the merrier.
Revising it I'm think maybe a 300 GFLOP system, can run Wii U level graphics at home or on the go. Has more RAM than the Wii U, must faster OS, can dock at home and maybe boost those graphics up to 600 GFLOPS?
That seem to be in line with these reports.
And there's some gimmick to differniate it from tablets/smart devices.
Come on Nintendo. I want to you to make me want to own one of your consoles again. Wii U is the first one that made me not want to own it, like many others apparently. Sales numbers are proof for themselves, most gamers want the power and graphics. I personally will take gameplay over graphics, any day. But it'd be nice if the graphics were at least somewhat comparable to the other 2 consoles that have sold more than yours, and very much less time.

Sorry but they really aren't. I don't know why people keep saying this. Assuming this whole 2 SKUs with a unified library thing is true then that would mean that all games would have to be created with assets that are at least acceptable on the stronger SKU, but also work on the weaker SKU, generally resources needed per game would rise and while there might be somewhat less long droughts Nintendo would surely not be able to adequately support the system on their own.

Your thinking its a hybrid? 2-in-1 tablet, with a docking station + extra cooling + slight overclock+up resolutions when docked.
At one point I thought the NX would be a tablet.... but now I dont anymore.
anyways someone on GAF posted this: "You're a console now, you're a handheld now, you're a console now.........!"
I still think its unlikely its a 2-in-1 hybrid.
Its more likely its a handheld device + another home console device, that both run the same games (game cartridges baby!), and maybe slightly higher res on console.

They dont need "differnt" assets.... they just need to bump up resolution and AA.
Watch this video: (same assets, same game, differnce is just resolution they are rendered at)
Psp resolution (480x272) vs PPSSPP (1280x720):

0,6+ TFLOPS fixed it for you
Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar
If its true then its an 8th gen console. Powerwise it cant compete with 8th gen consoles. In its lifetime it will compete with 8th gen console. Those who thinks its a 9th gen console needs to think again. Arguing here wont change anything.
