I've played CoD since MW1. Every game. Not always on release day but still consistently.

Why does advanced warfare seem to be the first one that has performance problems? I own it on ps3 and it looks ugly, loads slow and just does not run well. I'm at my friends who has an xb1and he faces server/connection issues so what I want to know is 

- how does it perform for you comparatively to previous entries?

- what platform do you play on?

AW has been ported on PS3/X360 from a different studio.
AW plays much better and has no issues on PS4/XOne.

I played it on ps4 and everything ran just fine. didnt like the gameplay though.

Because you are playing it one 9-10 year old hardware. Go get your PC from 2006 and try to play a game from 2014-15 and see how that turns out.

AW was ported by High Moon Studios to PS3 and Xbox 360, so obviously that's going to impact quality. Also as far as I'm aware the game runs fine on PS4 and XB1, so your friend might wanna check his connection.

If you played all of them on PS3 you should know that they all had lower resolution and framerate than the 360 version. If anything the PS3 versions got better with each year.
However I looked it up on Digital Foundry and this time it seems like the PS3 version is performing worse than its predecessor.

The online for xb1 has connection issues. Dunno why y'all are ignoring that part d: the game is just a huge disappointment

Runs fine on my PS4. The game was developed for X1 and PS4 with the 360 and PS3 porting down by another developer. Don't expect full performance on aging hardware.
