Stealth without a doubt. A lot of survival horror games use screamers and other lame stuff to make horror, there isn't enough survival horror with really good horror, like Silent Hill.

Stealth for certain. I like thinking in my games. I like the tactical nature of stealth games that require patience and observation.

In Skyrim, I mainly played stealth/archer--well, at least until I became a virtual god, then I just charged in. Still, nothing scoring a one-shot kill on a sleeping dragon. In Fallout, I mainly played stealth/sniper. Far Cry, stealth all the way. Deus Ex, stealth take-downs ruled--except when you hit one of those stupid boss fights.

Even in WoW, my three main characters were all Rogues.

I enjoy both but I do prefer stealth mainly because Metal Gear

Gotta figure out how to set these up lol.

Stealth is a big part of survival horror, without it it's not really survival horror, just another action game with zombies. Survival horror wins for me as it's stealth with enemies that you actually want to hide from.



I really like both genres but if I had to choose between the two, I would go with Survival horror > Stealth.
