Forums - Nintendo Discussion - so what is going on with Fatal Frame V and Devil's Third?

I heard that fatal frame is not going to get a physical release because the orange banner surrounding it on Nintendo's website suggests an eShop exclusive. Devil's Third, however, does have a box at the very least, but people are also speculating that this game is not going to get a physical release. Do you guys think we can see physical releases of this in the US? I really like collecting Nintendo games, and honestly if FFV is download only, im going to be skipping it. I really want to play it, but I need physical copies of my games.

Isn't there something we could do to convince Nintendo to give us physical releases of these? Didnt Reggie say earlier that he believes physical releases are important? are we reading too much into this? or is the orange banner around the game a case closed, done deal type of situation?

it has just been announced that shovel knight will be seeing a phyiscal release, so it makes me wonder if the same could happen for Fatal Frame. I dunno guys, im desparately looking for good news about this situation.

yeah, i dont know why they treat europe like royalty compared to america. nitnendo doesnt give a shit about america anymore.

America, got kirby, smash bros and other things a bit earlier, so they want to balance it out i guess, but in the long run , europe gets special treatment sometimes :/

question though, do you know if there is official box art released by Nintendo for Europe's fatal frame?

Which is a reversal to what happened until up and including the Wii early on, when europe got shafted all the time. Many games back then didn't make it across the pond back then. Early Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, Earthbound, to name just a selected few? Didn't originally make it to europe until their rereleases.
