Racing games aren't as popular in the US as they use to be. Forza belongs to a console that right now, is only popular in the US. GT is on a platform that has HUGE presense in EU... which just so happens to be a place where people love the SHIT out of racing sims.
That pretty much explains it.

But I guess you are right, I also think people are still a bit insecure. Some want to hear how much they were right by going with Sony that it can't be often enough. Perhaps OP expected responses like "because GT is soooo much better like every Sony gem is always in its own league" or something.

It's not 'always' Sony fans that do this. I'd say this sort of incendury thread is evenly spread between the different camps ... but that's not the point anyway. There is absolutely no value in these threads existing. There is NO other interpretation of intent other than one of negativity. That's why, even as a Sony fan, I find them distasteful.

Wow, fella, you really do have a problem with me. Did you see my previous post? Both camps are equally as bad in this regard. If there's a reasonable argument that leads to friction then so be it, but when the agenda is this apparent it becomes a problem for me. I'm on your side here and yet you've found reason for friction bewteen us.
