If its coming on 2016 and the fusion rumor is true, then i am suspecting this new system will not be too far from Wii U technology , then this system might be a tablet, a fusion of handled and console with capability like Wii U but with small and portable like.

July does seem early... but I guess if their releasing both the handheld and home console version within a year July could just be the release of the handheld version with the home console version following at the earliest in 2016 holidays.

I think the Xbox Two and PS5 will come out in 2019 because AMD said this gen will be shorter than the last. So the NX succcessor might come out a year or two later.

Digitimes is the PR unit of the Taiwanese electronics industry.

They only print stuff the named Taiwanese companies OR their rivals have asked them to print. So I would guess that it is very accurate except for the number of units claimed.

That's certainly in the realm of possibility. Either way This console will be a great way to get them closer in sync with the twins hardware wise.

why dont they just open up a booth at e3. that'll be a launch to remember. iwata claiming wiiu and nx together. if this were true, give us some epic gamez to look forward to. not happening. it will be released november 2016 like e ery other console.

Why don't you just accept that Digitimes is not a consistantly reliable source and we should probably not take this article too seriously?



I bet the Wii U would sell more than 15M LTD by the end of 2015. He bet it would sell less. I lost.

Nintendo can easyly present NX on some direct in January. Then on E3 give the details and launch games and voila! )
