LOL, people are counting the special edition of FE as two copies and then adding it to the total. That's not how things work. It did well though. Seems COMG was a bit inflated though.

P4DAN did alright, but I am surprised by how much it boosted hardware.

Kresnik, I don't think Heavensward did poorly. It's just not a game that people are going to buy retail.

PS4 > WU this week was expect, amazon is 90% accurate.

I had a cynical comment already prepared to troll WiiU fans and was just waiting for the moment the PS4 manage to get on top. But it took so long I forgot it :(

That is how it works as its 2 games. Same with buying the other version at a cheaper price via DLC. Look at NSLU for comparison.

But if you dont want to believe in it, thats on you^.

Splatoon and the Wii U sales LEGS!!!!!!! Even without new releases, the Wii U gets really close to PS4.

And 340k for FE:FATES and 30K for the 3DS this week - Which was 10k less than i predicted =( But compared to last week, good jump.

 

Edit: Actually i thought the 3DS sold <20k last week, just found out it was 25k. Not a huge jump, but still jumped =D

The how about this scenario:

- Person buys the White edition

- Buys the Black Version with discount, since that person already had the white edition

Does this = 2 copies sold?

It decreased significantly from the base game, though:

16 - PS4 Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn 34,279 86,194 Square Enix
68 - PS3 Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn 184,462 285,385 Square Enix

Nearly all contained in the PS3 version, but PS4 didn't seem to pick up any of those consumers.

PS4 again ~50% up YoY.

At this rate it will be surpass 2014 numbers at the same period in 4-5 weeks even with last year having the biggest week (launch 309k).

Soul Sacrifice had a literal "Double Pack" which was 2 retail copies in one bit of shrink wrap. That was not double counted despite selling more than 10k as it is a single SKU. A special edition that contains more content are always counted as a single SKU (which is what we're tracking).
