I think there some trues about all that rumours about Diddy Kong Racing 2, probably will be launch title for NX, so I dont think that Mario Kart 9 is now in devolpment, but new Mario 3D game certainly, probably Pikmin 4 too, F-Zero..I dont think they start working on Splatoon 2 yet because they still developing content for first game and they still analysing what exactly can they do with Splatoon 2 in comparison with first game.

Paper Mario is posible for Wii U.

Diddy Kong Racing would probably be handled by SPD 3, and outsourced to another developer. However, I don't think it's being made by Retro (or better said: I hope not!). Maybe a collaboration between Monster Games and Paon? That would mean Retro could have their hands on another Nintendo franchise.. or they're making something brand new (which would be my guess).

With regards to Splatoon, I'm guessing a small team is working on the blueprints for the next game on NX, while the rest of the team is providing content updates and DLC.

Well we have rumors that Method is working on new game, and Nintendo confirmed that Metroid Prime is not in development currently, so there are good coaches that Retro is working with Monster Games on Diddy Kong Racing for launch for NX, and I dont think that is bad think. In that case Diddy Kong Racing would be very different experience comparing with Mario Kart 8, similar like in N64 era when both games were great. After NX launch Retro would have plenty times for at least one new game.

I agree for Splatoon 2.

Meh

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

I think that there are zero chances that we will another Zelda Remake this gen, except that, Twilight Princess can already be played on Wii U via backward compatibility so Nintendo certainly would not do that. Also, releasing two 3D Zelda games in same year on same platform is very stupid and certainly not something that Nintendo would do.

But I belive we will have Twilight Princess HD on NX.

You're right about it already being playable, but I think there's enough people who would rebuy an HD version of the game for WiiU. Or even a master quest HD version or something like that. People have been pretty vocal about it since the tech demo ever since 2012. But you may be right. The thing is... we're not sure whether the next big Zelda will come out in 2016 are we? It would make sense for its 30th birthday, but what if it isn't ready? Maybe Nintendo wants to keep an extra card in their hand for if Zelda would not be finished in 2016? Maybe if Zelda does release in 2016, as you say, they will keep Twilight Princess HD for 2017 (possibly on NX). I DO think they have started working on it. That or we're seeing Four Swords Adventures HD in 2016 as well.

Two 3D Zelda's may be a bit much on one console in one year, but it's not like Nintendo has never released two Zelda games in the same year for one platform, e.g. 2015: Majora's Mask 3D (3DS) & Tri Force Heroes (3DS). Also if we take all the VC releases in account there have been TONS of Zelda games that have been released in one year for the same system. Yes, also 3D Zelda games.

You are right: it's not a bad thing, but I'd like to see both Monster and Retro working on different titles.. just so we get two great games instead of one  in the near future . I'll be playing Diddy 2 for sure! I was just wondering what other franchise Retro would work on if not Donkey or Diddy related. It could also be that Retro is working on Diddy with the helpl of Monster, and that Monster is working on their own title (Wave Race, 1080, Excite, F-Zero?). That would be great as well.

I love Bayonetta 2.  Much better than Hyrule Warrioes.  It's a shame that Hyrule Warriors smashed it in sales since it takes place in the Zelda universe.

Ha, I hear you once again, but apparently it is harder to sell a sexy witch that has guns on her heels than octupi squirting ink, or a guy in a green leotard that gets help from fairies. What a world we live in!

Tentacle Hair > Hair Wings (-> Splatoon > Bayonetta 2)

Bust Size of Cia > Bust Size of Bayonetta (-> Hyrule Warriors > Bayonetta 2)

It all makes sense from my (perverted) point of view.

I guess that would be something for NST nowadays and not necessarily EAD. Since work on Tipping Stars has finished and nothing else has been announced, who knows? Also, I could see SPD 3 having outsourced Wave Race to Monster Games (if they're not working on Diddy Kong Racing or Excite). So don't give up hope! I loved Bluestorm on my Gamecube!

Off course people would buy TP HD on Wii U, but thats not something what Nintendo would do, releasing HD version of game from previous generation on current gen, especially if original is playable on current gen. Same can be applied for Mario Galaxy HD, also expecting to see on NX. And we already have to much Zelda remakes this gen, they will certainly want to have some next gen too. We cant be 100% sure in anything, but new Zelda for Wii U is 2016. 90% sure, they can't delayed most unappreciated Wii U game for two years, and Reggie already said that is 2016. game.

Majoras Mask 3D is remake released in february and Triforce Heroes is topdowns spinoff probably for Q4 2015, not exactly same like releasing TP HD and completely new Zelda that looks like it will be one of the best Zelda games ever.

Like I wrote, I think that there are zero chances for TP HD game on Wii U (or onother Zelda remake this gen), but Twilight Princess HD on NX is very possible.

Metroid, something completely new...I think Donkey Kong 3D would be quite interesting too.

So....fuck all?
