Forums - Gaming Discussion - How Have Video Games Affected Your Dreams?

Not dreams as in what you want to do in your life, but dreams as in the thing that happens when you're sleeping. Have you gotten more game-like dreams the more often you played games? Or had game-like dreams less often the less you played them?

For me personally, I have sorta game-like dreams a lot. Many times in my dreams, my life is at risk. Yesterday, bit humanoid monsters were chasing me and a few other people, and you had to avoid them. We got narrowed by one in a dead-end room (the area was like a comination of a store and house), and I tried to use a knife lying around (it was a kitchen) to break the window to the room getting everyone to climb out. Etc. etc. stuff like that.

Can't wait for The Zelder Scrolls 3: Breath of The Wild Hunt!

Haven't really had any dreams influenced by games for a while but I had a few when I was younger from games like Pokemon.  Usually base some of my daydreams around them though.

I guess I had dreams where characters I never expected to make it in Smash Bros made in Smash Bros...

I dunno, honestly, I usually just dream about random stuff completely unrelated to gaming.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

I dreamed that I got a X1 and wondered why the hell I didn't have Sunset Overdrive. Then I remember that I didn't buy an X1. It was weird as fuck.

To be honest, I don't really dream about video games.

I just had a Shadowrun Returns styled dream two nights ago because I've been playing so much of it. When I do remember my dreams, they tend to be centered around whatever game or anime I've been immersed in, or whatever I was thinking about right before bed.

Never have done, or at least not any that I remember. But I have had that thing where you play to the point where you shut your eyes and you start seeing flashes of the game you've just been playing.

Not dreams but sort of daydreaming?

After Playing Resident Evil 4 and one day walking past the entrance of my University, a gardener was holding a pitchfork while walking my direction. I stopped on my tracks for a second like I needed to do something in a threatening situation and then I realized that I was reacting to his semblance to one of those Las Plagas dude that holds a pitchfork

I resumed walk while laughing at myself for being in such a stupid situation.

Nintendo is selling their IPs to Microsoft and this is true because:
