The 360 BC is going to be more notable than most of those PS4 exclusives and console exclusives.

BC is gonna be more notable when the list of compatible games grows substantially. That's not going to occur without third parties approval, and at this point, we can't tell. I'd advise x1 fans to wait for that to happen before flaunting BC in each discussion.

MS claims they will have 100+ games 360 BC titles this year, so clearly 3rd parties are already agreeing to allow their content on the service. That certainly can't be all MS games. Why wouldn't 3rd parties jump on an opportunity to keep selling 360 games? Not all of them will be remastered.

Bascially, I'm saying the 360 BC will get more attention than most of the junk that appears on the PS Store. This thread is boasting quanity, but its niche stuff that's often ignored.

1.Got a list of those 100 games? Those could be niche indie titles as well. Only in this case, a lot older niche indie titles than the ones the PS4 is getting

2.As I said, this is the age of remasters, collections of old games, charging gamers whenever possible. I think my doubts over how big the BC list of games will grow is justified.

3.Even if some AAA X360 titles made the list. Why would they be more effective and important to X1 than the Japanese exclusives to the PS4 ?

Yes, you're seeing it right. The playstation 4 has more of every type of exclusive and it has the better versions of third party games. I wonder why the PS4 is selling so well...... It must be because of the hype.

The only ones saying PS4 has no games are Sony fans. Could you guys please stop playing victim in these sort of threads?

Around 90% of the xbone library is the same as the PS4 anyway, so why does it matter. People buy consoles for the multiplats mostly. And multiplats happen to run best on PS4 and PS is a more powerful brand. Japanese gamers have also never shown much intrest in foreign consoles, so Sony consoles always get much more support from Japan. But those games usually aren't big system sellers.

And yet there is a MS fan post just a few above yours dismissing PS library as "Japanese games" and "junk on PS store" Salt life.

The diversity brought about by "niche and Japanese" games is why Playstations can sell everywhere and not just America. Also, Japan is an important region, FYI. So, Japanese games matter.

Maybe if the Xbox brand could secure some niche and Japanese games, it'd sell better in non-US regions. Not everything that isn't a $100M game gets ignored, you know. Example: Demons' Souls. Look what that franchise turned into. Bloodborne has been referred to as a "system seller" by many, but it's "just a niche game".

Maybe in Japan, but what about the EU? They have FIFA deals and whatever, they're still behind. Its nothing to do with games it has. And anyway it wouldn't sell better in Japan, see the 360, where they had tons of Japanese games, and people didn't care.

Seems about right.

thank you.

Indies this gen have became gold, when no one gave a shit about them in the past.

The PS4 has more exclusives than the xbox one of any type (indie, AAA, 1st party, 3rd party, console exclusives, remasters) except with timed exclusives.

The PS4 has the better version of third party games consistently.

The PS4 has a widely more diverse game library than the xbox one.

Even if you add one hundred xbox 360 games to the xbox one's library, it still has less games than the PS4. I'm not even tallying in PS Now.

Junk huh?

I'm sure you're going to try to further fluff up BC and downplay the PS4's library.

Ironically, I never call into question or downplay the xbox one or nintendo's quality of games. Why? Because it's a really shitty way to try to devalue or demean a game library just because you don't like the brand.  Those games are awesome to those fan bases.  /story

So please stop trying to devalue the quality of the PS4 library based on jack shit.

Crazy thing.  I can only speak for myself but there were literally HUNDREDS of indie games and arcade games I had to own last gen (I own hundreds across the various 7th gen consoles).  Games like Limbo, Braid, Journey, Super Stardust, Geometry Wars, Shadow Complex,  Splosion Man, etc.  This gen, despite the heavy emphasis on indies, I'm much led inclined to purchase one.  For me, the excitement is no longer there--at last not like it used to be.

I wonder if it's a marketing thing, a lack of creativity, if the novelty has worn off, or if I'm just getting bored with gaming.
