"SEGA have announced that 7th Dragon III Code: VFD is in development, set for release in Japan later this year.

The Nintendo 3DS exclusive RPG’s reveal was accompanied by a teaser website, which currently only shares basic information surrounding the project. It details that 7th Dragon 2020 illustrator and designer Shirow Miwa returns as character designer, while Yuzo Koshiro is the composer with sasakure. UK handling the theme song. Whereas Masayuki Kawabata will helm the project as director, with Juro Watari as producer. More information will be shared in a NicoNico livestream that will take place on Friday 3rd July, with a countdown timer ticking away until it airs. 7th Dragon III Code: VFD will release exclusively for Nintendo 3DS in Japan on October 15th."

I don't know much about this series, but I hope this game actually makes it to the west unlike the other entries. Unfortunately, since it's SEGA I don't have much faith in that, but it'll be interesting to see how well this game does in Japan.

Hopefully atlus will bring it over.

We will probably never see this. Still hoping for Shining Resonance, but... yeah, Sega.

The second one is my favorite game of last gen handheld, i really loved it.
And the first one on the ds was really great too.

But this time, only for 3ds...It suck. The only handheld with Region-locked games, wonderful. I can't even import it. It will flop hard on 3ds, MMW this game would sell better on Vita, especially when the nintendo players didn't have a game of the serie since a long time.

What's the game about? Right now I'm hoping for the localization of Langrisser 3DS, but one more JRPG won't hurt (that's a lie, it will hurt my wallet).

Post apocalyptic game about humans who were nearly wiped by Dragons And Furowaro. You create a team of warriors (same as etrian odyssey) and you need to wipe every dragon off the map to regain your land  to erase the toxic Furowaro (Red flower, very poisonous to humans, is everywhere on planet, EVERYWHERE).

Really cool game, the first was something like a Etrian odyssey with a real world map, and the others 2 on psp were donjon-rpg.

never heard of it is it big in Japan?

Dont mean to be rude to fans of the franchise but OMG Sega, of all your beloved franchise this is the one that your going to show some love too?? O_O
