The players are actually making less than they're worth to the organizations they belong to. Ownership still taking in majority of revenue made.

Well at least it explains why 60% of NBA players are broke 5 years after retirement.
i doubt all nba players do that. several might, but instead of playing video games, they should be practicing a lot harder to become superstars. but most players know they won't win it all. and money is too much they can afford buying something and just leave it there.
for us common people, we don't have that luxury and we or your parents work to get the money to buy our daily needs and hope we have money for gaming.

I would be shocked if there's a single NBA player who would choose NBA Live over 2K15.
Nobody cares about their save data? They update the console every time? It would just be easier to just bring the console since that's the one with your info a purchase history.
