We know that The Last Guardian is releasing in 2016 but what if at the Playstation Experience they announce it's releasing in January? How many people will then buy a PS4 in December?

Booo. I told my son Sony would open with The Last Guardian and close with Uncharted so I'm not discounting the possibility of an early Last Guardian release in 2016.

But seriously, I kinda doubt it, Q1 has in recent years become holiday quarter 2.0 and next year will be no different I think, Sony themselves are already releasing SFV (Capcom is releasing this but you know what I mean) and UC4 in that quarter, I believe TLG will release later and should ideally release in a more quiet time.

I'd say between July and early September would be ideal, close to E3 but not too close, relatively little game releases in general and before the real big hitters are out, I think I mentioned that before.

I doubt its early 2016. Wouldn't be surprised if it actually ended up being delayed to early 2017.

I don't know... It would have a slight boost in sales maybe? I don't think it would change a lot, honestly. By then, the people who wanted PS4s got theirs on Christmas, so they'd just pick up the game. Maybe some stragglers would pick up a PS4.

I wouldn't though, unless the price was cheaper.
