Last time i heard, NERD was studying the Cloud system. The rest of their work aswell as NTD's, i have no idea what they are doing.
That could be it, though.
Nintendo needs to expand into China (well, drop the iQue thing) , latin america and the REST of Europa.
Also France.......software development....since WHEN do you make stuff?!
Nintendo really needs more 2nd party developers.. Remember the days when they had Rareware and Silicon Knights.
They need to buy Platinum games. Even though they appear to be doing a horrible job with star fox :( most likely because they are being rushed.

If you look at a full list of what they released on both Wii U and 3DS last year and the year before, you'll find that Nintendo releases more software in a given year than anybody else. For example, between November 2014 and May 2015, they released a total of 11 retail games, 7 of which were on the Wii U. That is insane. Of course they're held to different standards because they're a hardware company who has a home console that's struggling to get third party support. Still, that's a lot for one company. As far as hiring is concerned, just how much hiring is necessary? They've hired more people over the last decade than anybody else. At a time when other companies were laying off people during the great recession, Nintendo was actively hiring.
