Forbes just put up an interview with Reggie. One of the questions was about the Wii U and if any of the new games coming out will convince people to buy one. He listed some games as potential system sellers, and then said this about Xenoblade Chronicles X:
"And then the other one I would point to is Xenoblade Chronicles X. Especially for an older consumer, and potentially a consumer that owns a competitive console, this game with its massive open world, beautifully rendered, I think it’s going to be something that’s going to excite that fan and drive them into the business."
This is really interesting to me. What does he mean by "competitive console?" Is a competitive console like the X1 & PS4? Why is the Wii U not "competitive?" Am I reading too much into this? What do you guys think?
